Our Dutch culture seems to be fading, but not in Den Helder. Since 1975, the Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden have been active to maintain a tradition. The 90-key street organ ‘de Harmonica’ is managed and operated by the volunteers of ‘Stichting Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden’. Almost every Saturday they are with the organ in the city center of Den Helder. On an original wooden, three-wheeled push cart and always turned by hand, as happened a century ago.

WSC Breewijd is the first marina on your right when you enter Den Helder. We are a small and easygoing harbor that breathes relaxation and quiet. Because of this, we actually get a lot of visitors! Your safety has also been thought of, the harbor comes equipped with a lockable fence where you get a key for. The entire harbor is 2,50 meter deep, and therefore accessible by many.
