Hotel Cape Horn is situated at the Zuidstraat in Den Helder, near the city center and the old Royal Navy shipyard Willemsoord. You can walk right into the city center where you find loads of cozy restaurants. Or cross the little bridge to visit one of the museums at Willemsoord. Our hotel has free Wi-Fi. After attracting the integral belt and setting up the helmet you go to the exhibition trail. The trail consists of 3 loops.

Since 1996, the museum lightship Texel No. 10 has been an absolute eye-catcher in Museum Harbor Willemsoord on the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord in Den Helder. What is special is that the now beautifully restored ship is moored a stone's throw from the slipway where she was launched in 1951. After this, the lightship would be a reliable beacon in the sea off the Dutch coast for forty years. It now forms a shining centerpiece of a special museum ships collection. Restaurant Vice Versa is situated in the station building of Den Helder Airport, from which our guests can enjoy a nice cup of coffee, a lovely lunch, our sandwich of the month or one of our delicious fried egg on toast. All of that whilst overlooking the runway of the airport with all sorts of activity. What a lot of the people of Den Helder don't know, is that we are freely accessible. No passport or ID required! You can also come to us for all sorts of catering possibilities. You can also celebrate your birthday or some other occasion with us!

KopGroep Bibiotheken (Libraries) has three branches in Den Helder and Julianadorp and a service point in De Schooten. The central library can be found in the city centre of Den Helder. School 7 is the living room of the city, where people come to meet each other, are doing their work, take a course or read the newspaper.
