The Pettemerbos is located north of Petten, just behind the dunes. In this beautiful area you can walk between maples, oaks, heathlands and holly bushes on winding forest paths and shell paths. You share the area with birds, rabbits, foxes, ermines and the black Galloway cattle that keep the vegetation in the dunes short.
