Hotel The Baron Crown is situated in the picturesque seaside resort Huisduinen, a stonethrow away from Den Helder, next to the beaches, sea and dunes. Nowadays the Chapel building has a function as a village house / event location. The space can be rented for various activities such as weddings, receptions, meetings, birthday parties and other gatherings. The Chapel has crockery for 50 guests, so that a (bread) meal / buffet can be enjoyed if necessary.

The Grandmother and Motorsmuseum is a museum that exhibits all sorts of grandmother and antique motifs. There are almost 300 engines to visit. In addition, you can enjoy old fire trucks, Ford's 1948 tractor and admire a ballast Nedam roll from 1927. On the huge upper floor you can see all kinds of authentic shops, including: Hats, Hairdresser, Grocery, Clothing and many other things from grandmother.
The Helders museum is located in the old music dome of the former lyceum on Timorlaan. Today this dome is also known as the Paviljoen van Toen, which borders the Timor Park in Den Helder. The Julianadorp Vooruit Cultural Association was established in 1958. This association was founded at the time with the aim of organizing various activities with a cultural dimension for the residents of Julianadorp and thereby bringing a lot of entertainment and fun to the village. The activities that are on the agenda nowadays cover a wider area including, for example, sporting festivities. An active club of volunteers ensures that the festivities take place every year.

De Wieringer bookshop: The aim was (and is) to give the islanders, but also passers-by, the feeling that they have missed something when they have not been inside.
