The Dijkgatbos mountain bike route starts to the right of the information board and quickly disappears into the forest. The route winds through the forest and high speeds are not really possible due to the many bends. The route consists entirely of single track and the beautiful paths follow each other in rapid succession, just like the often very sharp turns. You even pass a real curve of 180 degrees. The route has been extended with an extra loop. This extra loop ‘the Hendrikspad’ can be reached via a connecting route. In the northwest corner, the route curves back into the forest and you drive along the western border of the Dijkgatbos. Here you get the first altimeters for the molars. The route here is less winding, undulating and contains a number of short but bright descents followed by ditto climbs for which you have to make a lot of effort to get up. The last part of the route dives deep into the forest and you are again treated to beautiful single tracks and wonderfully running hairpins.
