The owners have started a small-scale hotel in the middle of the center of Hippolytushoef in an old building at Beltstraat 79. Entirely in old style they have made 7 hotel rooms here. The hotel has a cozy communal area where breakfast will be provided and where you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea (free of charge). Cooking workshops are held every month in the common room. All rooms have a private bathroom with TV, shower and toilet. The hotel is part of In Ons Huys. De Wieringer bookshop: The aim was (and is) to give the islanders, but also passers-by, the feeling that they have missed something when they have not been inside. Every visit to the bookstore should be a party. We think we have succeeded in that aim. Everyone, young and old, can look around uninhibitedly, browse and enjoy what each book entails. The atmosphere is pleasant and homely. Feel free to sit down in one of the chairs and read the first chapter of the book that you will be taking home with you.

The Wieringerboerderij was built in 1854. Jan Lont collected all kinds of objects from everyday life. From 1991 the farm can be visited as a museum.

IJs- en zuivelboerderij De Wieringer
'De Wieringer' is open every day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can choose your dairy products yourself and pay (cash). There is also a picnic area here. Here one buys among other things: ice cream, yogurt, fresh milk, cottage cheese, jam, fruit yogurt and syrup. The 'ice cow' with ice cream (scoop) is outside during the weekend (unless the ice cow is on a market elsewhere, this is always indicated on the Wieringer's Facebook page).

The Hippolytus Church is a Protestant church. A church has stood on this site since the 12th century. In addition to the church service, there is also room for exhibitions and concerts.

De Smulhoek
In the beautiful town of Hippolytushoef in North Holland you will find a food and snack corner: the Smulhoek. Hippolytushoef is surrounded by walking and cycling routes that take you through the history of the former island of Wieringen. De Smulhoek is an attractive restaurant with a beautiful sunny terrace.
