At Aquacentrum Den Helder, you can do everything from recreational swimming to lessons, and we even have a real Aquabootcamp! Young and old are welcome. We also have the Triton 12 diving tower, where Dutch and international professionals come to train. This ultra-modern diving tower is unique in Europe.

Behind the beautiful nature area and recreational forest de Donkere Duinen, you find beach Donkere Duinen, also known by the people as entrance ''Hengstepad''. The beach Donkere Duinen is only accessible on foot or on bike. The advantage you have is that you can enjoy a beautiful and mostly quiet family beach. And ofcourse when you go to this beach, you have a great walk or bicycle tour ahead of you.
