De Donkere Duinen is een aangeplant dennenbos. Landschap Noord-Holland zorgt door middel van beheers-ingrepen dat het wordt omgevormd naar een afwisselend, natuurlijker bos.

De Stichting Helderse Botters bestaat geheel uit vrijwilligers en probeert de HD2 en RD28, twee unieke botters als cultureel erfgoed, d.m.v. charter en sponsoring door particulieren en bedrijven, voor het nageslacht in de vaart te houden.

The Dutch lifeboat service through the ages and the safety aspects at sea are at the centre of attention in this museum. Original lifeboats, ship models, scale models, paintings, pictures, distinctions, life-saving equipment and movies are being displayed. All texts and computersimulations are in the English language and most movies as well. Daily, between 13.00 and 16.00 hrs, a 15 minute tour through the inner harbour can be made on board a historic lifeboat. Reservations for the boattrip not required.

The private stables of Stefan van Haaster and Guido de Jong. We are mainly concerned with organizing beach rides and riding lessons, but we also regularly sell well-behaved recreation horses and ponies in the lower price range. The horses that we have are also used for the beach rides and the lessons, so they are not sport horses and we do not expect you to come to us for that. We offer horses that are healthy and of good character. Shortcomings are reported as much as possible when you purchase.

For the tastiest sandwiches, in a cozy French atmosphere, you have to go to the French Emperor! With over 30 years of experience, the guest is always king, the sandwiches are prepared very quickly & with love, we have the tastiest homemade sauce and we serve a delicious cup of coffee! À bientot!

Creative organizational talent that can be used for various projects. I started my business 9 years ago. Organizing parties, events, artists' books (well-known and less well-known). An advantage is that I myself am a musician and feel what the client means, on the other hand I have the "feeling" with the artists. The rate is € 10, - per night, this includes: tourist tax, Wi-fi. the discharge of sewage and use of showers, toilets and baby care room. To use the laundry you can purchase a sep-key at the tourist information office or the harbour master.
