After years of work, the old coal barn was transformed into the Tara Center. Here are a lot of activities in the field of spirituality. Think of lectures and meetings, as well as courses and permanent meditation and mantra evenings. In addition, there is also a bed and breakfast in the center. There are 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds – a private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin – and a seating area with a table and 4 wicker chairs. Breakfast is served on the ground floor. Farmer’s campsite De Buitenplaats
The Buitenplaats is a farm situated in the small and quiet village of Eenigenburg on the old West Frisian Omringdijk. At the farm, 25 cows are milked in the morning and at night, allowing everyone to come and see. There are some chickens scratching around the farm and there are 2 bungy bushes on the meadow with of course small calves. The land around the farm is mainly grassland, but potatoes are also grown.

Between the coal, potato and bulb fields there is a nostalgic pipeboard. In this special B & B you can stay in a bed and enjoy a cup of coffee or wine on the veranda overlooking the Westfriese Omringdijk. The new sanitary facilities are located a few steps from the pipowagen. There is also a small kitchen in the B & B where you can make coffee and tea. Church of Valkkoog
The church of Valkkoog was built in the 16th century with old brick materials. The church is late gothic and has a five travee deep ship. The church is open to visit during events and exhibitions.

Ruin ‘t Huys te Nuwendore
The castle 't Huys in Nuwendore was a fortress built by Floris V to keep the rebellious West Frisians in check. The castle was built in the 13th century, at the same time as the castles in Medemblik, Wijdenes and Oudorp. The castle was destroyed at the end of the 14th century, probably as a result of a dike breach. The foundations were preserved by the National Monument Care in 1960 and a path has been made to it. The ruin is located in a bend of the West Frisian Zeedijk between Eenigenburg and Krabbendam on the Burchtweg. A booklet about this is for sale at the tourist office.
