There are only two bunkers of this type in the entire Atlantic Wall. These two imposing bunkers are located in the dunes near the "Zandloper" beach access point in Julianadorp. They were never used: the war ended before the bunkers were completed. The bunker on the north side is open to visitors. The bunkers consist of two floors. A huge circular shaft is visible where the artillery would have been placed. The ammunition would then be brought up through it. Camping at the foot of the dunes with the beach within walking distance. Camping Helmzicht is located around the North Holland farmhouse from the early 1900s.

Vakantiepark Oase is a quiet and green family farm with a beautiful view of the dunes. Adjacent to the beautiful North Sea and the beautiful dune landscape with of course the wide beach. The Oase has a campsite with a sanitary building. Divided throughout the park are comfortable rental chalets. For the children there is a large playground, and in the summer months we offer creative activities for children and adults. Dogs are welcome to us at Oasis and also on the beach.

Beach Julianadorp aan Zee is a beach with a four star status, and has been in the top 10 of nicest beaches of the Netherlands for years. On this beach you can also find the nicest beach houses of the Netherlands. They are for rent at Landal Greenparks, who also own a bungalow park in the area (Landal Ooghduyne). At the beach there is a brand new guarded beach post with First Aid and toilets. There are good accommodations for disabled persons, with a parking spot for themselves, a seating spot and a modified toilet.

The magnificent arranged 2x9 holes golf course with A-status is situated nearby the dunes and the sea. It has a open character and is almost always playable because of the sandy soil.
