Wonder’s food & drink is located in one of the most beautiful buildings in Schagen. A monument that was built in the 19th century and where De Gouden Engel was located as a hotel and restaurant for decades. Nowadays the door is still open for everyone to come eat and drink and meet each other. From early in the morning until late in the evening. Classics such as tenderloin, carpaccio salad, cheesecake and salmon are on the menu. But also changing dishes to suit the season and delicious wines, beers and coffee. Museum Vreeburg is a restored farm dated from the 17th century. It serves as a regional museum. On the ground floor you will find completely furnished rooms and in the cowhouses antiques tools. The carriage museum, connected with the farmhouse was completed in 2008. Here you can see authentic cariages in the original state.
