Beach entrance Zandloper is the northernmost beach of Julianadorp aan Zee. The beach is formerly known as Ship on the Beach, after the paviljon that was located there at the time. Nowadays, a brand-new paviljon has been built after a fire destroyed the old one. This beach has a guarded beach post, and has a Blue Flag.

There are only two bunkers of this type in the entire Atlantic Wall. These two imposing bunkers are located in the dunes at the beach entrance "de Zandloper" in Julianadorp. They never operated: the war ended before the bunkers were finished. The bunker on the north side is open to visitors. The bunkers consist of two floors. For example, you can see a huge round shaft on which the artillery would be placed. The ammunition would then come up through that. With less than 5 minutes of driving you are at the beach and can take a wonderful dip in the North Sea. In the spring you can visit the extensive flower bulb fields blooming nearby.
