Agrarian Museum Knowing and Working is located in a large barn. You're looking back in time. What you can see here is not just about the agricultural sector. It shows how people lived before. Klaas and Jeanette Hoornsman brought together an extensive collection of old tools, old objects, old clothes, etc.

Beach entrance Zandloper is the northernmost beach of Julianadorp aan Zee. The beach is formerly known as Ship on the Beach, after the paviljon that was located there at the time. Nowadays, a brand-new paviljon has been built after a fire destroyed the old one. This beach has a guarded beach post, and has a Blue Flag.

Camping Farm Duinzoom Julianadorp between Den Helder and the North Sea coast, just 100 meters from the dunes and beach. You can enjoy the sun, wind, farm life with tractors, harvesters, but also beautiful flower fields, rest, beach, sea, dunes and forest. In short: camping on the coast!Sunbathing in Den Helder? Our campsite is located in a quiet spot between the flower bulb fields and the beautiful Duinvliet hiking, cycling, canoeing and horseback riding path. It’s close to the beach, shopping centre, swimming pool and various restaurants. Our spacious camping pitches are equipped with running water, electricity (10 amps) and waste water drainage. Our sanitary building is equipped with underfloor heating and showering is free of charge. Our campsite also has a canoe rental that is accessible to young and old, experienced or inexperienced. Dogs are welcome at our campsite.

We welcome you at our Bed & Breakfast, with a warm, familiar environment. Situated at just 300 meter from dunes and beach, we have beautiful walking and cycling routes right around the corner. We greet you with a drink of your choosing, and tell you everything about the surrounding area, and good restaurants nearby. We make our products from our own garden, and bake our bread ourselves. You can enjoy all of this in our cozy conservatory, underneath a grape vine of over 50 meters long!

In january of 2018, the new children's farm at Noorderhaven opened its doors. The farm consists of 4 animal quarters voor small cattle, goats, pigs and donkeys. The deer camp has space for 5 deers and in the horse field stay Fjorden and Tinkers. The farm is a place where it's fun to work at and spend time. The residents of Noorderhaven feed the animals and clean their enclosures.

Our icecream is fresh and made in our open ice cream kitchen. We make our ice cream with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, milk, cream and sugar. All our sorbet ice cream is lactose-free and almost all of our ice cream is gluten-free. Besides ice cream, we also have delicious coffee.

Camping Le Maire and Farm Spoorzicht now also offer the option Bed & Breakfast and overnight. Enjoy our nice guest rooms for 1-6 people. With or without breakfast or evening meal and for a few nights or longer stay. You can choose from three rooms; Double bed and a room with two single beds. Our spacious modern detached bungalow outside the village is just 4 km from the beach. Shopping center, gas station with car wash and Den Helder Airport are close by. In spring, summer and winter you have a beautiful view of the flower bulbs.
