Wieringen, a former island, now connected to the mainland by the Aflsluitdijk en Amsteldiepdijk lies at the Waddensea and the lakes: Amstelmeer and IJsselmeer. It's only 15 minutes drive to the Nordsea beach. You will find lots of space and possibilties like surfing, sailing, swimming, wad-walking, biking,walking, fishing or sealspotting. The Wieringerboerderij was built in 1832 and was originally a mixed farm with cows and sheep.

The farm of Jant Lont is an original Wieringer farm dating from 1854, is showing live and working on Wieringen. Special is the tilewall with bible exposures. The farm has been renovated in 2004-2005 and refurbished. It has a lot of information.

Visit this beautiful garden in the Top of North-holland. Every season show its colors and you can make an appointment for a tour. During the summer there are open garden days of Top in de Kop.

The detached villa was built in 1928 for a member of the management of the Zuiderzee Works.

The mill was built in 1851 as a corn and hulling mill. The voluntary millers keep the mill running regularly.
