'De Wieringer' is open every day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can choose your dairy products yourself and pay (cash). There is also a picnic area here. The 'ice cow' with ice cream (scoop) is outside during the weekend (unless the ice cow is on a market elsewhere, this is always indicated on the Wieringer's Facebook page).

Playground association Helderse Buurt was founded in 1952 from the neighbourhood association Helderse Buurt. The playground offers a playground that was completely renovated in 2018 on a 1,250 m2 fenced area. At Recreation Park Wiringherlant on the former island of Wieringen there are two hotel rooms in one of the houses in the park. The rooms have all facilities, only the toilet is shared with the other room.
