Kade 60 is located in the building of the former iron foundry , located at the old dockyard Willemsoord. The stylish decor, varied menu and informal atmosphere make you feel at home in our “living room”. The restaurant seats up to 80 guests and features a bar, lounge area with fireplace and a play area for children, equipped with DVD player. You can not only contact us for lunch or dinner, or just for a cup of coffee or a drink with a snack. Behind the restaurant you will find over 200 free parking spaces !

Nowhere in North Holland is bird life as rich as on Balgzand. The land here is wide and beautiful. From a number of points on the sea dyke you have a beautiful view of the mudflats. A good point to look at is ’t Kuitje Information Centre on the Oostoeverweg in Den Helder. Note the tides, for with rising water the thousands of birds fly in large swirling clouds towards the dike to spend time there.
