Restaurant "De Strandtent" offers a cozy atmosphere, friendly service and a beautiful view. In addition to dining in "De Strandtent", you can contact us to organize events, parties or meetings for a company, association or family. We are also an official wedding location for the municipality of Schagen.

Beach pavilion Kaap Noord is the northernmost pavilion on Texel with a view of Vlieland. Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch, drink or dinner.

Open summer and winter! Beach pavilion Sint Maartenszee once started out as a small beach hut in the dunes. Now it has grown into two beautiful pavilions: North & New South. For years Peter, his family and friends have been running both with enthusiasm and love for the trade. You can reach the beach via a beautiful walk / bike ride through the dunes or you can use our Diner aan zee taxi. On the beach of Sint Maartenszee is for everyone to enjoy. We have new beach cabins! Paal 6 is the beach restaurant in Julianadorp where you can relax, have a lunch, drinks and dinner. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and equipped with a wide terrace.

Our Dutch culture seems to be fading, but not in Den Helder. Since 1975, the Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden have been active to maintain a tradition. The 90-key street organ 'de Harmonica' is managed and operated by the volunteers of 'Stichting Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden'. Almost every Saturday they are with the organ in the city center of Den Helder. On an original wooden, three-wheeled push cart and always turned by hand, as happened a century ago.

In Den Helder with the most beautiful beaches and most solar hours, the studio of Photo Studio Ad Biersteker is partially converted into a cozy apartment with a beautiful sunny roof terrace. Son Jan and his wife Ingrid have continued Studio Blank since 2020 and breathe new life into it. They are showing the permanent collection of works by Hans Blank, who was not only a sculptor, but also a painter.
