Curious where future naval officers are trained? Book a tour of the Royal Netherlands Naval Institute (KIM) and discover the heart of military leadership in Den Helder.
Unique look behind the scenes
During a 1.5-hour tour, a guide will take you around the KIM grounds. You’ll learn about the training of midshipmen and see where they train and learn. Tours are available by request only and take place on Saturdays at 10:30 AM or 1:30 PM.
Only with reservation and identification
Advance reservations are required for participation through the Den Helder Tourist Information Center. Don’t forget your ID, as this is required for access to the site.
