De woning is gebouwd in 1850. Het schilddak is gedekt met rode pannen. De witte kroonlijst is niet versierd. De beide zijde van de voordeur worden gesierd met een pilaster. Uit archieven blijkt dat in 1929 meneer K. Coops een aanvraag heeft gedaan om het woonhuis te veranderen tot winkelhuis. Het kozijn van een winkelraam kwam in de plaats van twee ramen. In 1966 is de voorgevel veranderd. Er zijn meerdere winkels in het pand gevestigd geweest waaronder de Pico en een schoenenwinkel. Het gebouw heeft geen monumentale status. Voormalig raadhuis Nieuwe Niedorp
In 1866 is het statige raadhuis gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect A.T. van Wijngaarden. De eclectische bouwstijl is te herkennen aan de symmetrische indeling van de gevel, de deels gepleisterde gevel, de venstertypen en de gestucte lijsten met profilering. In 1975 werd het pand verbouwd tot dorpshuis en vernoemd naar het naastgelegen reizigerscafé Prins Maurits dat in 1973 verloren ging tijdens een brand.
