Schagerwad Schagen is approximately 100 hectares in size and almost entirely owned and managed by Staatsbosbeheer. This is the only nature reserve within the municipality of Schagen. There is a reed field of around 35 ha in the area, which is mowed every spring. The rest of the area is a small-scale polder landscape with a relatively high water level.

Located in the center of Schagen you can come to us every day for a large assortment of meals, home-made fries, snacks, sandwiches and salads.
