Around 1930 this was the post office of Nieuwe Niedorp. Previously, this was a grocery and drapery shop. In 1973 the post office was converted into a house. The waiting room and the office on the street side have been turned into a living room. The renovation is based on a design by the local architect M. Boekel from Oude Niedorp and carried out by contractor G.J. Boekel from Heerhugowaard. The PTT sidewalk tile still reminds of the place where the mailbags were collected. Stolpboerderij Oudeweg 16
In 1861 is de stolpboerderij met enkel vierkant gebouwd. Het is een Noord-Hollandse normaalstolp: kenmerkend zijn de dorsdeuren aan de achterzijde van de stolp. Het voordakvlak is rietgedekt met een pannenspiegel. In de jaren 80 is vermoedelijk het gehele dak voorzien van riet. De schuur (ook eens stolp) is gebouwd in 1898 voor het onderbrengen van stieren, kalveren, een paard en een varken.
