Wildrijk nature reserve Sint Maartenszee is a very special forest. Good for a walk of less than an hour, especially in the spring. The bottom is covered as far as you can see with a blue carpet of wild hyacinths.

Camping de Iepenhoeve has 25 campsites, both in the sun and in the shade. The farmhouse is 10 km from Schagen, 15 km from Den Helder and 7 km from Groote Keeten beach and 7 km from the cozy beach resort of Callantsoog.

The department of Den Helder was founded in 1822 and is therefore the oldest existing association of the naval city. For a century and a half it had a pioneering role in education and development. Castle Nieuwendoorn. Foundations of the in the 13th century founded castle Nieuwendoorn. Located between Eenigenburg and Krabbendam this was one of the castles of Count Floris the V. Bungalowpark de Hasecamer is a very nice, quiet family bungalow park. It is a small and child friendly park. Located just 900 meters from one of the whiteest beaches of the Netherlands and yet near the heart of the charming village of Callantsoog. In the nature reserve, directly adjacent to the park, and in the vast area of ??Callantsoog are beautiful walks. The cyclist can follow many ANWB routes in this wide area. Maneges offer the horse lovers many possibilities, and the sporty surfer has a private beachfront on the beach.
