Camping ‘t Zand

In the village Winkel, central to the head of North Holland, on the provincial road N242 and near the A7 and A9, is the Golf + Country Regthuys located. In 2006 the first 9 short holes and driving range were opened. In 2007 the first 9 long holes were opened disigned by Course and landscape architect Alan Rijks. Regthuys is therefore a full 18 hole par 71 golf course with the first 6 section of the Netherlands.

Group accommodation Veldzicht is located in the middle of the northern part of North Holland, in a rural area in an agricultural area, 800 meters from the 126 km long West Frisian Omringdijk which embraces the "Westfriesland" area.

The Bedijkte Boezem is a piece of grassland located in the West Frisian village of Winkel. Here young birds are spared by not mowing before mid-June. The area is too small and buildings are too close to really satisfy the many meadow birds. In the ponds there are year-round water birds such as spoonbill, teal, white hole and snipe for migrating. You can take a look at the Bedijkte Boezem, which can be easily seen from the Westfriese Dijk.
