Bed & Breakfast 'Vrij Gezellig' is located in the new farmhouse, in the rural West Frisian village of Winkel. A fairly cozy place, away from the highway, where you will feel at ease. They have access to three rooms with a rural view. West Friesland is the perfect environment where you can enjoy peace, but also actively cycle or walk. Enjoy the hospitality! The West Frisian farmhouse was built in 1828 and has an excellent front house.

The Lucaskerk was built in 1845 on a mound.

The weighbridge and weighing house were used from 1933.

In the village Winkel, central to the head of North Holland, on the provincial road N242 and near the A7 and A9, is the Golf + Country Regthuys located. In 2006 the first 9 short holes and driving range were opened. In 2007 the first 9 long holes were opened disigned by Course and landscape architect Alan Rijks. Regthuys is therefore a full 18 hole par 71 golf course with the first 6 section of the Netherlands.
