Welcome to our comfortable B&B, located in a beautiful nature reserve, within walking distance of the beach, sea and dunes. Get a breath of fresh air or sunbathe on the beach, walk or cycle through the dunes, photograph the colorful bulb fields in the spring, or spend a day on Texel? Or visit the Navy Museum, the Atlantikwall center or Fort Kijkduin. Within walking distance you will also find De Helderse Vallei, a canoe rental and “De Donkere Duinen”. The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood. You will stay in a spacious room with your own compact bathroom (shower, sink and toilet). During good weather you can relax on your own terrace at the end of the day. In the evening you will find several restaurants within walking or cycling distance. In the city center and at Willemsoord you can also enjoy a nice drink or dinner. See you soon!

Scheepstuigerij de Schieman
At Scheepstuigerij De Schieman we process rope and steel wire into a traditional product and we do a lot of sail makers work. We work for both companies and individuals. We are regularly asked by private individuals to make a cable ring with iguana or widened fenders as a beautiful decorative edge and / or to protect their boat. But we also supply stays, shots and falls, jib nets, play nets, climbing nets or a net like protection at a fishing pond. As a sailmaker, customers regularly hand in tents for repair.

Den Helder dunes
