On Saturday, August 29, 2026, participants will once again dive into the water of the harbor of Den Oever for Swim to Fight Cancer Hollands Kroon .
The second edition of this unique swimming event will take place during the anniversary edition of the Flora & Fisheries Days . The first Swim in 2018 was a resounding success, raising a whopping €80,000. In 2026, we’re raising the bar: together we’re aiming for more.
Participants swim a course in the harbor and are sponsored by family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. The proceeds go to groundbreaking cancer research and to two initiatives of the Noordwest Hospital Den Helder.
You can participate in various ways: as a swimmer, volunteer or sponsor.
A meaningful sporting challenge, amidst the vibrant scenery of Den Oever. Together we’ll enjoy the weekend, and together we’ll take action against cancer.
