During this festive evening, local champions take centre stage. Individual athletes and teams receive recognition for their exceptional achievements in 2026. The annual gala is an initiative of gemeente Den Helder and Team Sportservice.
Give Helderse champions the stage
During the Kampioenenparade, local top athletes receive their well-deserved recognition. They achieved a first place at a NK, EK, WK or the Olympic Games in 2026. The champions receive a sports medal as appreciation for their performance. The municipal sports titles will also be awarded.
Discover who wins the sports titles
Who deserves the title Best Sportsman, Best Sportswoman or Best Sports Team? The Sporttalent and the Oeuvreprijs are also on the programme. An expert jury selects the winners from all nominees. You will also enjoy a festive programme with various acts. This way, the evening is entirely dedicated to sporting achievements.
Nominate your sports hero
Do you know a Helderse top athlete or a special sports team? Nominate them no later than 30 November 2026 via Team Sportservice. You can also nominate yourself if you meet the conditions. Tickets for visitors are available from 4 January 2027. Put on your sporty chic clothing and celebrate the Helderse sports heroes!
