Oudejaarsloop 2026

End the year with a sporty challenge in nature. Choose the 5-kilometre fun run or the 10-kilometre race. Children can also participate in a free 1-kilometre youth run.

Discover nature while running

The Oudejaarsloop takes you through the varied landscape of Den Helder. Run past dunes, through woods and towards the beach. The fresh open air makes this last run of the year special. You start at FC Den Helder at Sportpark de Streepjesberg.

Choose your distance and get started

There are different distances for young and old. Youth up to and including 9 years old start at 10.45 am. Children from 10 to 12 years old set off at 10.55 am. The 5-kilometre fun run begins at 11.15 am. The 10-kilometre race starts at 12.00 pm. Participation is free for children; adults pay € 7.50 or € 10.
