Solve the murder! Who has the Emperor’s blood on their hands?

During Museum Night on Friday, October 9, 2026, Fort Kijkduin transforms into the setting for a thrilling Murder Mystery. The story takes place during Napoleon’s historic visit to Fort Kijkduin in 1811. During a festive dinner with a motley company, the Emperor is unexpectedly murdered. The big question: who took Napoleon’s life?

Armed with a map, participants set out to investigate. By solving puzzles and tasks, they gather clues that bring them ever closer to the truth. Six historical suspects can also be questioned, including Jan Blanken, the mayor, and an admiral. Behind every suspect lies a unique story, motive, and secret. Only with keen observation and good teamwork can the culprit be unmasked.

The Murder Mystery brings the history of Fort Kijkduin to life in an exciting and interactive way. Will you manage to uncover the truth?

Time slots are used. A group of up to six people can start every fifteen minutes. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Museum Night takes place from 19:00 to 00:00, and the last time slot starts at 22:30.

Advance registration is strongly recommended, as capacity is limited. You can register via info@fortkijkduin.nl . Please indicate your preferred time slot. Time slots start every 15 minutes between 19:00 and 22:30.
