Spotlight on! Talent show
On September 30, primary school children can showcase their talent during the Spot aan! Talent Show at Theater de Kampanje. Singing, dancing, making music, reciting a poem, performing a sports trick, or a magic trick: anything goes.
Children’s Book Ball with Yorick Goldewijk
Children aged 9 to 12 will enjoy glitter and glamour on Friday, October 2, at the Children’s Book Ball Spot on! Children’s book author Yorick Goldewijk, known for * Films die nergens draaien *, will also be present. This evening is especially for children and their friends.
Design competition for groups 3 through 8
Design your own book cover and enter the competition. Pick up the competition form at the library and submit your design by October 10. The most beautiful entries will be exhibited in various branches of the library.
Sticker scavenger hunt in the library
From September 30 to October 10, you can participate in a special sticker scavenger hunt during opening hours. The scavenger hunt takes place in the libraries of Den Helder, Nieuw Den Helder, Julianadorp, Texel, Schagen, and Tuitjenhorn.
Take a picture
On October 7, Nieuw Den Helder Library is organizing Spot on! Dress Up & Click. Put on a fun outfit and shine on the catwalk. At the Schagen and Tuitjenhorn libraries, you can have your picture taken with your favorite book throughout Children’s Book Week.
Performance Stage Fright
After Children’s Book Week, Tijl Damen is coming to School 7 on Thursday, October 15 with the interactive performance Plankenkoorts . A cheerful show full of music and interaction about the art of failing.
