Fair de Marlequi: An indoor pumpkin and atmosphere market in Warmenhuizen
Every year on the third weekend of September, De Marlequi in Warmenhuizen organizes the Fair de Marlequi, a popular indoor pumpkin and atmospheric market that has become a household name in the area.
Inspiring market
With approximately seventy stalls, the market offers a wide range of products for home and garden enthusiasts. Visitors can find plenty of inspiration. The Alkmaar branch of Groei & Bloei offers drop-in workshops, where the weather won’t spoil the fun thanks to the covered location.
Pumpkins and more
The Fair de Marlequi is known for its wide selection of pumpkins and gourds. Visitors can enjoy a variety of edible pumpkins, ornamental gourds, and gourds in various shapes and sizes. There are also delicious products to sample, such as pumpkin soup, pumpkin jam, pumpkin wine, and grape jam. Visitors can even pick their own grapes in the greenhouse.
