From November 6 to 8, visit the ninth edition of the EOC Traditional Ships Fair. This international nautical event takes place at the De Kampanje theatre and surrounding buildings. You will find everything at the Willemsoord complex in Den Helder.
See craftsmanship up close
Safety and sustainability are once again a focus this year. In addition, the fair is dedicated to maritime crafts. Take a look at wood bending and astronavigation, for example. You can see and experience this in the Stadshal, the small theater hall, the Medemblikkerloods, and at the workshops of Museumhaven Willemsoord.
Take young people along for free
Young people up to the age of 25 can enter for free. With this, the fair aims to get more young people excited about nautical heritage and traditional sailing. Previous editions already offered this to those up to 18. So this year, you will have even more space to come together.
Get more out of your visit
With your admission ticket to the fair, you can visit the National Rescue Museum Dorus Rijkers and the Maritime Museum for free for three days. Both museums are within walking distance of the fair. Park your car for free at the shipyard complex. This makes it easy to create a complete nautical day out in Den Helder.
