Boat trip and boat rental De Eendagskapitein organizes boat trips in which we take you in our beautiful open gardener’s flat, from the De Rijd location in Nieuwe Niedorp. But you can also come to us for a boat to enjoy with your family or a few friends or to enjoy sailing together. We also provide various arrangements in cooperation with the catering industry in the area, such as dinner, BBQ, picnic, etc. You can make your wishes known to us, together we will certainly come to a suitable arrangement. Landhoofden in Nieuwe Niedorp van de tramlijn Wognum – Schagen
De historische landhoofden zijn een tastbare herinnering aan de trambrug voor de oversteek over de Langereis. Vanaf 30 oktober 1898 werd de brug gebruikt door de stoomtram van Schagen naar Wognum. Het traject was 23 kilometer lang en duurde 70 minuten. De tram vervoerde personen maar ook vele goederen voor de veiling in Winkel en de gasfabriek in Nieuwe Niedorp. Na de komst van busverbindingen en vrachtwagens werd op 31 januari 1930 de tramlijn gesloten.

The Grandmother age and Motorsmuseum
The Grandmother and Motorsmuseum is a museum that exhibits all sorts of grandmother and antique motifs. There are almost 300 engines to visit. In addition, you can enjoy old fire trucks, Ford's 1948 tractor and admire a ballast Nedam roll from 1927. On the huge upper floor you can see all kinds of authentic shops, including: Hats, Hairdresser, Grocery, Clothing and many other things from grandmother.

Voormalig raadhuis Nieuwe Niedorp
In 1866 is het statige raadhuis gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect A.T. van Wijngaarden. De eclectische bouwstijl is te herkennen aan de symmetrische indeling van de gevel, de deels gepleisterde gevel, de venstertypen en de gestucte lijsten met profilering. In 1975 werd het pand verbouwd tot dorpshuis en vernoemd naar het naastgelegen reizigerscafé Prins Maurits dat in 1973 verloren ging tijdens een brand.
