Nogal Wiedus aan Zee

De Razende Bol is a jewel in the collection of nature reserves managed by Landschap Noord-Holland. For a few years they have been responsible for nature management on this sandbar that is also known as Noorderhaaks. The sandbar is constantly under the influence of current and wind, the location is therefore constantly changing. The Razende Bol is slowly moving in the direction of Texel.

A group of players who can transfer themself in diffrent periods of times. They take the public with them to the time of Napoleon around 1800. Also the period of Charles Dickens, gipsies and fairytales are part of the options. The public will come in one big theatre play and will be in all diffrent periods of time!

Uniquely situated in the coastal village of Huisduinen, surrounded by sea, beach, dune, forest, polders and the Wadden Islands Texel and De Razende Bol, you can enjoy the beautiful nature, quiet and clean beaches and fresh air. Deze 11 km wandelroute voort u langs de forten, verbonden door de Liniedijk, samen vormen ze de Stelling van Den Helder. U wandelt deze route aan de hand van een boekje, met veel achtergrondinformatie over de tijd van Napoleon in dit gebied en landschappelijke aspecten. Dit boekje is verkrijgbaar bij de VVV's voor €2,50. Langs de route staan ook verschillende informatiepanelen behorend bij deze route.

Hotel The Baron Crown is situated in the picturesque seaside resort Huisduinen, a stonethrow away from Den Helder, next to the beaches, sea and dunes. Within 5 minutes you reach the centre of Den Helder. Our hotel offers free WiFi. The suites feature a seating area with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, a minibar and coffee and tea. Each suite also has ironing facilities.

The FL250 was nicknamed 'Kroontjesbunker' because of the shape of the tower. In the bunker the flight movements of aircraft were coordinated. This bunker is located in a nature reserve.

On our visit address at Huisduinen (art workplace LDS46) we organize, in addition to changing exhibits, regular events. Here you will find performances of classical and modern music, festive receipts, workshop dinners and personal explanations of displayed works of art. Furthermore, we participate in various cultural manifestations and art routes.
