Around 1930 this was the post office of Nieuwe Niedorp. Previously, this was a grocery and drapery shop. In 1973 the post office was converted into a house. The waiting room and the office on the street side have been turned into a living room. The renovation is based on a design by the local architect M. Boekel from Oude Niedorp and carried out by contractor G.J. Boekel from Heerhugowaard. The PTT sidewalk tile still reminds of the place where the mailbags were collected. The three characteristics of this type of priestly training are as follows: international, diocesan and missionary. During Open Monument Day, the monastery opens its doors and guided tours are given.

Landhoofden in Nieuwe Niedorp van de tramlijn Wognum – Schagen
De historische landhoofden zijn een tastbare herinnering aan de trambrug voor de oversteek over de Langereis. Vanaf 30 oktober 1898 werd de brug gebruikt door de stoomtram van Schagen naar Wognum. Het traject was 23 kilometer lang en duurde 70 minuten. De tram vervoerde personen maar ook vele goederen voor de veiling in Winkel en de gasfabriek in Nieuwe Niedorp. Na de komst van busverbindingen en vrachtwagens werd op 31 januari 1930 de tramlijn gesloten.
