In the outskirts of Schagen, 15 minutes by bike from the old center and 15 minutes by car from the coast is the B&B Tolkerbosch. And this on one of the oldest access roads to Schagen; the Tolkerdijk. Our Bed and Breakfast is located in the former hayloft, an ideal place for a cozy and attractive stay with sufficient privacy.

In the heart of the cozy North Holland town of Schagen is the cozy pub Bar Gezellig. You are welcome in the typical Dutch atmosphere where Rob is ready for you to pour a nice beer.

`T Geveltje is the celebration ceremony of Schagen, with relaxed music in the beginning of the evening, with later breakers, cozy après ski and popping house music. Every Saturday to at least 05:00.

Ice cream parlor Picobello in Schagen offers you the most delicious ice cream sundae, an honest cup of Illy coffee (from freshly ground coffee beans), iced coffee, cappuccino, espresso or latte, with or without a biscuit or apple pie.

Schagerwad Schagen is approximately 100 hectares in size and almost entirely owned and managed by Staatsbosbeheer. This is the only nature reserve within the municipality of Schagen. There is a reed field of around 35 ha in the area, which is mowed every spring. The rest of the area is a small-scale polder landscape with a relatively high water level.
