Behind the dunes, just south of Callantsoog lies the nature reserve "Zwanenwater". The landscape consists of dunes, plains, swamp, pine forest and two lakes surrounded with overgrowth. Through a trail, 2 or 4 ½ miles, gives the visitor an idea of the landscape and the variety of plants and birds. Dogs are not allowed. Members have free access. Non-members pay € 1.50 at the entrance (automatic). Children under 12 are free.

In the north of Holland, on the edge of the dunes and surrounded by other beautiful scenery, lies Badhotel Callantsoog. With us, you can take beach rides, supervised and on the condition that you have enough riding experience. The rides last for about two hours. From May 1st until October 1st the horses can't go on the beach during the day, so we get a nice and early start at 7.30 AM! In our riding hall you can take lessons too, for both pony's and horses. For the little ones we even have extra small pony's!
