The Watersport Vereniging Amstelmeer has both certified courses, competition events and a fun component that often goes together. The WR 173 organizes several drying days on the mudflats and free sailing days for our members every year. In addition, the barge can be rented for half or full day with a crew. We also present ourselves during nautical events.

This may be the oldest beach in North Holland, as the sand is more than 100,000 years old. The recreational beach is located on the Amstelmeer in the Kop van Noord-Holland. You can take a break at the cozy Brandend Zand beach bar.
