Sjokoolaatje was created by years of passion and love for chocolate, bonbons and everything related to this. For years, the owners have been making handmade chocolate that people mainly know from the desserts of restaurant “Eeterij Ongder de Kukel” in Hippolytushoef. The name Sjokoolaatje originated at the kitchen table. In Wieringen used to be asked: ‘Are you hungry for a chocolate too?’ Sjokoolaatje works with a lot of passion and enthusiasm, this is reflected in the handmade chocolates and chocolate products.

Wieringer Frietkraam
Op het hoogste punt van Wieringen, misschien wel van Noord Holland, zo'n 13 meter boven zeeniveau en met mooi uitzicht op het wad is de Wieringer Frietkraam gevestigd. Het is een vaste standplaats voor het hele jaar dus 5 dagen per week de mogelijkheid om een eigen gemaakt frietje, kroket en zelfs de Scheltenburger te komen smullen. De piepers komen van Maarten Kikkert van het land en het vlees van de kroket komen van de koetjes van Maarten. De Scheltenburger is natuurlijk ook van de koetjes van Wieringer Bodem. Alles heerlijk zelfgemaakt!
