Lock the door and on your way in the car towards the first traffic queue. And then, from all the hurry and hectic you're suddenly at Wadzout 't. Quiet... fresh air, the rustle of the sea and a view as far as the eye can see! A holiday destination where you can, but don't have to do anything.

Op het hoogste punt van Wieringen, misschien wel van Noord Holland, zo'n 13 meter boven zeeniveau en met mooi uitzicht op het wad is de Wieringer Frietkraam gevestigd. Het is een vaste standplaats voor het hele jaar dus 5 dagen per week de mogelijkheid om een eigen gemaakt frietje, kroket en zelfs de Scheltenburger te komen smullen. De piepers komen van Maarten Kikkert van het land en het vlees van de kroket komen van de koetjes van Maarten. De Scheltenburger is natuurlijk ook van de koetjes van Wieringer Bodem. Alles heerlijk zelfgemaakt!

B & B Huize Doeschot is an authentic farmhouse which has been completely restored since 1992. It is located on the slope of the westerner Bult which is also the highest pit of the island.
