Father and Mother Baker started to travel to Eastern Europe with Bibles and reliefs in the early eighties. To help keep the Christians there, the idea of ??a mini campsite with which the family started in 1984 began. Who loves rest, beach, sea and flower fields is all in place and welcome.

When you look towards Den Helder, at night you can see a bright light shining from miles away (33,5 miles to be exact!). It's ''De Lange Jaap''; the symbol of Den Helder. It is the tallest cast-iron lighthouse of Europa, and the second-highest lighthouse in the Netherlands. It towers above everything else at 63 meters tall.

Since 1996, the museum lightship Texel No. 10 has been an absolute eye-catcher in Museum Harbor Willemsoord on the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord in Den Helder. What is special is that the now beautifully restored ship is moored a stone's throw from the slipway where she was launched in 1951. After this, the lightship would be a reliable beacon in the sea off the Dutch coast for forty years. It now forms a shining centerpiece of a special museum ships collection. The Texel Aviation Museum foundation was founded in 1988. After a long search, an old glider hangar became available in April 1966 and the museum was founded. The museum tells the story of the air war in World War II and the Georgian Uprising, when captive Georgian soldiers rebelled against the Germans.

De Tafel van Agriport is a cozy breakfast and lunch facility, located in the business park of Agriport A7, amidst the large-scale greenhouse horticulture in the Wieringermeer. For a delicious cup of coffee, breakfast or a tasty lunch De Tafel van Agriport is the right address. The sandwiches, salads and soups are freshly prepared daily, and mostly prepared with the products produced in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant.

The lunchroom is located opposite to the Schagen station. In addition to the atmospheric restaurant, there is a cozy garden terrace. You can go for one of the delicious lunch dishes, but of course a fresh cup of coffee or a drink with a bite. For companies there is a daily delivery service.
