This male choir currently has around 43 members. A choir that was born from the Helderse fishery. It has now grown into a group of singing men who stand their ground well during the performance. These performances not only cross the city limits of Den Helder, but even the land borders.

Kade 60 is located in the building of the former iron foundry , located at the old dockyard Willemsoord. The stylish decor, varied menu and informal atmosphere make you feel at home in our "living room". The Helderse Historische Vereniging was founded on July 1, 1988 and is concerned with the preservation, disclosure and distribution of the history of Den Helder.

These dunes are formed from the remains of the old Wadden island Huisduinen. South of this are the Donkere Duinen. These originated from the small Wadden island of Ooghduinen. The gap between the two islands closed in the 16th century. The Harmplas dune lake is now located here.
