The Heathen Chapel at the cemetery on Stroe is special because, according to tradition, a small church has stood on this location since around 700 AD. The chapel was built in 2016 on the initiative of local residents.

Scooter rental in Hippolytushoef for which you do not need a helmet. You can rent with 2 people on one scooter and for half a day or longer. We speak German, French and English.

The detached villa was built in 1928 for a member of the management of the Zuiderzee Works.

It lies in the beautiful rural surroundings of the former island Wieringen close to the Waddensea which is on the unesco world heritage list. If you like natuur, peace en creativity then you certainly must stay at 'Een wijde blik verruimt het denken'. Sailing, surfing and swimming within reach. Visit the Afsluitdijk or go sealspotting.

Sauna "Het Kuurhuys" offers modern sauna and wellness facilities in the atmosphere. Besides sauna facilities (Turkish steam bath, Infrared Sauna, Sauna Colour Therapy) you can also enjoy a variety of treatments (wine bath, milk and honeybath, body wraps and facial masks). There are also packages available with the nearby restaurant or at recreation park Wiringherlant.

The Wieringerboerderij was built in 1854. Jan Lont collected all kinds of objects from everyday life. From 1991 the farm can be visited as a museum.
