Mini golf is the new midgetgolf! The 15-hole Indoor Adventure Mini Golf Course is not a traditional midgetgolf course, but is made of artificial grass, has height differences and various obstacles. The Waarlandsmolen (Mill) was built in 1530. In the early 50's the mill went in operation. In 1966 the mill was completely restored, and then the spindle and the upper target course have been removed from the mill. From 1855 to 2008 the mill has been inhabited.

The Luwe steak is a modern recreation park with about 200 places. Due to the spacious layout, the many green areas and open fields, it makes it much smaller scale.

Near the birthplace of his father, Erik Koopman and his wife Mariëlle de Bont took over the Wijndomein de Slootgaert in 2016. With a plot of 1.25 hectares of grapes with 3 varieties of white and 3 varieties of red. They also make rosé. The wine domain has a company building where they make their own wines. Our B & B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard by bicycle distance. It is a guest accommodation for 4 people, suitable for a family with larger children. Cees and Lida are pleased to welcome you in their guesthouse, located in a studio room on the floor of a detached annexe. It has a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor. On the floor there are two bedrooms, one with double box spring and one with two single beds. There is also a kitchenette, dining area and seating area.
