On Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5, the beach of Callantsoog once again transforms into a living painting of color and movement during the annual Kite Festival. Everyone, young or old, experienced kite flyer or enthusiastic beginner, is welcome to join in and fly their own kite. Large single-line kites adorned the sky at every beach pavilion, while the activity beach made room for multi-line kites. Children were given an extra surprise with gifts dropped from the air!
The Kite Festival is all about relaxation, creativity, and togetherness. With free admission and transport from the Kiefteglop car park, the event is accessible and ideal for families and groups of friends. You can even bring your trailer onto the beach! The organizers ensure a friendly, safe atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. An ideal day by the sea full of wind, cheer, and kites.
