On Saturday, June 27, 2026, Visit Wadden and the Waddenvereniging celebrate the seventeenth anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea. At Camping Waddenzee, a fresh breakfast with local products and a view over the mudflats will be waiting on the dike. A guide from the Waddenvereniging will talk about the unique and fragile Wadden area. After breakfast, there will be an opportunity to explore the surroundings together with the guide. The program runs from 08:30 to no later than 10:30. A ticket costs €24.50 per person. Check the weather forecast beforehand and wear sufficiently warm clothing.
