Music for Ukraine

Musicians Oleg Lysenko and Maya Fridman bring special music together. Ukrainian dancer Vira Tsvik will also perform. All proceeds will go to Stichting Music for Ukraine. In this way, you contribute to aid efforts with a musical visit.

Experience music and dance for a good cause

Oleg Lysenko plays the bayan, a Ukrainian button accordion. Cellist Maya Fridman forms the musical duo with him. Both musicians are traveling through the Netherlands for benefit concerts. During the concerts, dancer Vira Tsvik will provide a solo performance. You can choose from two concerts, at 16:00 and 19:00.

Discover Ukrainian culture

From 15:00, you are welcome at Muziekschool Triade. Children from the music school will provide a musical opening act. In the foyer, you will find a small market with Ukrainian products. Taste snacks and dishes and get to know the Ukrainian community in Den Helder. This way, you will discover something of their culture alongside the music.

Help with humanitarian aid

Stichting Music for Ukraine continuously organizes concerts for Ukraine. With the proceeds, the foundation supports essential humanitarian aid, including ambulances. The campaign gained national fame via Even tot Hier and tatu. By now, more than 250 vehicles have already been purchased. The proceeds from ticket sales, the market, donations, and sponsoring go entirely to Music for Ukraine. With your visit, you directly support this initiative.
