The Helderse Vallei coordinates the performances in the open-air theater that is located next to the watchtower. Schools, theater or music associations and bands are free to use the theater in consultation under various conditions. These can be requested from the Helderse Vallei.

Langs het Hengstepad, ter hoogte van de Berkenlaan in Den Helder, ligt een losloopgebied van ruim 7 hectare in het duingebied.

"Robuust" is an inspiring place in the city centre of Den Helder where you can go for good and honest products. Practically everything is fresh and homemade. We work as sustainable and organic as possible.

Traditional fries with taste, served at Willemsoord

These dunes are formed from the remains of the old Wadden island Huisduinen. South of this are the Donkere Duinen. These originated from the small Wadden island of Ooghduinen. The gap between the two islands closed in the 16th century. The Harmplas dune lake is now located here.

Steamboat Y8211 and tugboat Dombo Y8017 are historical. The volunteers are working with a lot of passion to keep the boats in the water. It is possible to take a ride with the Dombo. The boat trips are organized alongside the Tourist Information Point.
