The Bedijkte Boezem is a piece of grassland located in the West Frisian village of Winkel. Here young birds are spared by not mowing before mid-June. You can take a look at the Bedijkte Boezem, which can be easily seen from the Westfriese Dijk.

The Willibrordus Church with its shortened tower still forms the heart of the small village of Haringhuizen in the top of North Holland. The church at Dorpsstraat 9 is raised on a mound and dates from the 15th century. The interior is attractive and contains a pulpit and baptismal gate from 1654. The old gravestones can still be admired on the floor. In the church is a beautiful English organ. This church is used for various cultural activities.

The farmhouse with front house in the Hogebieren was built on a late medieval mound. The workman's cottage at the beginning of the driveway recalls the agricultural period of the late 19th century.
