When you sail with the Tres Hombres, you will not count as a passenger, no, you're really a part of the crew! You come on board "with the safe holes" or you start at the lower rungs of the ladder. You learn the necessary safety knowledge for ordinary seaman, ship maintenance, steering, pay attention to changes, set sail and more. Then you proceed to sailor: Ropework, basic navigation and maneuvering under sail. Eventually after the necessary sailing time you have the experience to become a boatswain: leadership, harnesses, sail sewing, carpentry and ship seamanship in the widest.

Scheepsfolk is a Dutch maritime folk band with its own unique sound. The band regularly performs in many countries during festivals and nautical events and in folk clubs. The enthusiastic crew accompanies themselves with accordion, guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, draw bag, washboard, candrum, kazoo, cajon and double bass. The musical influences come from all over Europe, so Scheepsfolk has developed its own unique style.

At Scheepstuigerij De Schieman we process rope and steel wire into a traditional product and we do a lot of sail makers work. We work for both companies and individuals. We are regularly asked by private individuals to make a cable ring with iguana or widened fenders as a beautiful decorative edge and / or to protect their boat. But we also supply stays, shots and falls, jib nets, play nets, climbing nets or a net like protection at a fishing pond. As a sailmaker, customers regularly hand in tents for repair.

Creative organizational talent that can be used for various projects. I started my business 9 years ago. Organizing parties, events, artists' books (well-known and less well-known). An advantage is that I myself am a musician and feel what the client means, on the other hand I have the "feeling" with the artists. Creative thinking has become my trademark and together with a large team we do everything we can to achieve a great end result.

Smartlappenkoor Ordinaria is a four-part choir that has been around for more than 20 years. We sing smartlaps, life songs and Dutch-language repertoire. Every year we participate in Music Day, Summer Dreams and other events.
