MFC ‘t Dorpshuis Julianadorp

C.V. de Krabbetukkers, founded in 1962, is organizing and stimulating the celebration of carnaval in Den Helder. With the help of enthousiastic volunteers they organize an annual programm of activities in the ambiance of carnaval.

Campingsite de Zwaluw in Julianadorp is located near the sea and nature with wide beaches and beautiful dunes. The site is about 7 kilometers from Den Helder. Our campsite is a family campsite with a friendly cafeteria / snack bar and a large playground.

The double bedroom is located on the 1st floor. There is access to the balcony. Use of a sitting room with extra bed for a third person of the family. In the living room a TV, fridge, coffee machine, kettle. The shower is on the 1st floor, toilet on the ground floor exclusively for the guests. Internet is possible. In October, November and December, no overnight stays.

This detached, two-person studio (without breakfast) is within walking distance (700 m.) from the dunes and next to the bike and canoe route. The studio is situated in a quiet and green surroundings and you have a lot of privacy. There is a separate, fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. If desired, (no extra charge) a cot / high chair or extra bed can be given. Behind the garden there is a landing / fishing pier, located at the canoe route. Is is also posible to rent canoes next to the parcel.

Our family park is situated at just 400 meter from the beach, and is a must for true beach lovers. We have an appartment complex and over 300 bungalows, a minigolf course, tennis courts, a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal and enjoy a cool refreshment at our sunny terrace, bycicle/carts/wagons rental service, animal playground, Doggy Wash, washing salon, water playground with a cable-way, and a football pitch.

Welcome to our cottage "De Kleine Stern" where we have everything ready for a pleasant stay. A quiet cottage with private entrance. Where peace and privacy is important. The right place for a stay along the beach, a nice bike or a big canoe trip. 200 meters of beach, dunes and sea. Near cycling, hiking and canoe routes. Ground floor: kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room with lounge dining area, radio, TV, Wifi. Two bedrooms with a total of 4 single beds.

There are only two bunkers of this type in the entire Atlantic Wall. These two imposing bunkers are located in the dunes near the "Zandloper" beach access point in Julianadorp. They were never used: the war ended before the bunkers were completed. The bunker on the north side is open to visitors. The bunkers consist of two floors. A huge circular shaft is visible where the artillery would have been placed. The ammunition would then be brought up through it.
